Transaction Support Profile – Commercial & Finance Agreements

·       Member of negotiation team for formation of joint venture between nine oil companies to facilitate first Asian fixed link cross-border gas sale agreement between Indonesia and Singapore.

·        Lead negotiator for above consortium for tender and letting of 400km undersea pipeline from Indonesian waters to Singapore.

·        Member of negotiation team for conclusion of gas sale, gas supply, transportation and associated financial agreements for above project.

·        Project finance advisor to Premier Oil PLC for US$200m financing of its share of pipeline and gas platform construction for above project.

·        Provision of advice and negotiation support for project financing agreements for £70m financing of private prison under UK PFI scheme.

·        Negotiation and arrangement of £20m export credit financing of oil & gas project in Egypt for Costain Group PLC.

·        Investment in and formation of joint venture with Polish engineering company to provide joint engineering services for Middle East oil & gas projects. This was a newly privatised company post-communist era, making due diligence extremely difficult and requiring considerable cultural sensitivity.

·        Negotiation support for establishment of additional export credit finance facilities for a water distribution project in Nigeria.

·       Provision of advice and negotiation support to conclude signing of generic alliance framework agreement for annual maintenance shutdowns with Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Co for its LNG plant on Das Island, U.A.E.

·        Commercial negotiation and support for onshore/offshore contract structure with Gas Natural Ban of Argentina for peak shaving gas plant.
